Why you'd want to live in Frisco
Frisco is known for exemplary schools, pristine parks and destination dining, retail, sports and entertainment. All of this has contributed to Frisco's rapid annual residential growth rate of more than five percent. One of Frisco's claim-to-fame is the "$5 Billion Mile". The 549 acres that are being developed along the Dallas North Tollway consist of The Star (home to the Dallas Cowboys world Corporate Headquarters), Wade Park (175-acre project consisting of upscale retail, dining and housing),, The Gate (4 million SF of office space and mixed-use) and Frisco Station (242 acres of Mixed-Use development). Real estate prices have soared. In 2012 the average home price was $330,000 while the current average is just over $400,000.
